Why is STEM Important?
What separates STEM from the traditional science, technology, engineering, and math education is the blended learning environment and showing students how the scientific method can be applied to everyday life. It teaches students computational thinking and focuses on the real-world applications of problem solving.
The purpose of this program is to develop students into researchers. Students will learn science and engineering from university researchers and gain hands-on experience performing experiments and building projects in labs. Students will work closely together in a hands-on way to solve real-world problems.
